Luis Salinas is one of the most famous Argentinan electric and acoustic guitar player. Salinas is born near Buenos Aires. His music style is inspired by candombe, tango, latin fisuon, samba, bossa, jazz manouche and salsa.

Luis Salinas è uno dei più grandi chitarristi argentini. Nato a Monte Grande vicino Buenos Aires e figlio di musicisti. La versatilità dello stile di Luis Salinas è il tratto compositivo principale della sua musica che è influenzata da vari generi: candombe, tango, latin fisuon, samba, bossa, jazz manouche e salsa ma soprattutto da un grande tecnica dell l'improvvisazione jazzistica.

Luis Salinas guitarrista argentino nacido en Monte Grande, ciudad cercana a Buenos Aires. Es un Improvisador nato con una original capacidad interpretativa, abarcando distintos géneros (candombe, tango, latin fisuon, samba, bossa, jazz manouche y salsa) con el concepto del jazz.

"Luis Salinas y Amigos en España" was nominated in the category "Best Instrumental Album" during the 2006 Latin Grammy .

Salinas says: "The variety of songs and styles means that I don't want to limit myself to some trend and, as music has no borders, I don't use a passport" . Moreover in "Solo Guitarra" Luis Salinas performed music composed by Carlos Gardel, Ariel Ramirez, Mariano Mores, Badem Powel, Vinicius De Moraes, Antonio Carlos Jobim, Ivan Lins, Stevie Wonder, Django Reinhardt, Hector Stamponi and Atanualpa Yupanqui.
