IMPATIENS è il nuovo progetto
musicale originale scritto e prodotto da Marco Testoni in
collaborazione con i percussionisti di Hang Camera e con la
partecipazione di Billy Cobham, Mats Hedberg, Nicola Alesini,
Michele Ascolese, Max Di Loreto e Sergio Chiesura . Un
album in 11 tracce – il primo made in Italy - attorno alla
particolarissima sonorità di metallofoni di nuova generazione
quali sono HANG e CAISA DRUM, oltre ai più noti STEEL DRUM. Una
famiglia di percussioni che esprime compiutamente il “manifesto
artistico” degli Hang Camera: ovvero la ricerca del “lirismo del ritmo”.
Spaziando dall’ambient al nu-jazz; dalle suggestioni poliritmiche della
musica popolare tradizionale ai richiami del minimalismo; da Steve Reich
a Pat Metheny; attraverso l’asimmetricità ritmica di ispirazione
sefardita. Il
cd include il booklet “Guida ai
Fiori di Bach” di Anna Crudo.
